Venom - Charcoal drawing (and time lapse video)

Hello again, Blogger!

It's been a long time since I've posted anything on this blog. I've done some really fun drawings since my last post, and I'd like to share some of that here on Blogger just in the rare chance it brings joy to someone. I love looking at all kinds of art and making it myself, so I have to imagine others feel the same.

Venom - charcoal on paper

Venom has always been one of my favorite comic book characters of all time. I hadn't drawn him in YEARS and I saw the trailer for the new movie on YouTube a while back and just HAD to draw him again. It was a ton of fun - especially in charcoal. 



Oh, and I also made a time lapse of the drawing!

I took the updated Ganesha photo and added a colored background. I think it makes the figure stand out a little better. What do you think? I'd love to hear feedback.

I added more tones and shadows to Ganesha, and tried to get a better photograph of the work. This is the result.
